    • What is CFD Trading?

      CFD stands for Contracts for Difference. It's a financial instrument that allows traders to speculate on the price movements of various assets without owning the underlying asset. When you trade CFDs, you enter into a contract with a broker, and the difference in the asset's price from the entry point to the exit point determines your profit or loss.

    • What markets can you trade CFD in?

      Ultimately it depends on what your broker offers but it is possible to trade in a wide range of markets, including stocks, indices, currencies, commodities, and cryptocurrencies.

    • Isnt Forex CFD Trading a Scam?

      Forex Trading is not a scam. Unfortunately this industry is infested with many corrupt individuals so it is often associated with scams. As long as you use a reputable broker and dont rely on others for your trading you can avoid scams. Most scammers frame themselves as gurus promising crazy returns or teachng you how to be a profitable trader with their 5 day course. These are red flags to avoid.     • What is the best platform to trade CFD on?

      Metatrader 5 is the best platform to trade on. Metatrader is built on years of development including a thoroughly documented codebase for developing EAs and indicators and more. Anyone claiming another platform is better is straight up lying or doesnt know better. Most other platforms were released after Metatrader and still lack the features and level of performance that MetaTrader has.

    • What is an EA?

      An Expert Advisor (EA) is a software program designed for automated trading in the financial markets, especially in the context of MetaTrader platforms. It follows pre-set rules and algorithms to execute trades on behalf of traders. EAs are commonly referred to as Trading Bots.

    • Can you use Trading Algos/EAs on Funded Acccounts?

      Ultimately it will depend on the prop firm you are using. Most firms allow EA usage depending on how they work. Some firms have specific accounts for EAs. Be sure to check with your firm before using.

    • What is a Trading VPS?

      A trading VPS (Virtual Private Server) is like a special computer in the cloud designed for trading. Traders use it to run their trading software 24/7. It's faster and more reliable than a regular home computer, ensuring that trading activities, like executing orders or running algorithms, happen smoothly without interruptions. A good trading VPS should be optimized for the platform you trade on providing lower than average latency. The VPS is always connected to the internet and is dedicated to trading tasks, helping traders stay in control of their strategies even when their personal devices are turned off.

    • Do i need a Trading VPS?

      You will most likely only need a trading VPS if you are running an Expert Advisor (EA). Even then some EAs do not require VPS's depending on how they are built. In most cases they are needed. You may also require a VPS if you are developing trading algos. It can be very helpful to have a fast VPS for effecient development and backtesting. You may also want to use a VPS if you are not getting a good connection with your current broker on your personal device. A majority of the time we recommend using a Trading VPS.
